retreat booking terms

Koh Phangan, Thailand 2027

Last updated: 23rd September 2026

booking and payment

  • You apply through the retreat page. If your place is offered, you'll receive a link to pay the deposit.

  • Your place is confirmed once the £500 deposit is paid.

  • The total price is £2,500. The balance of £2,000 is due by 12 October 2027 (+ £500 for single room subject to availability).

  • If the balance isn't paid by 12 October '27, I may treat your booking as cancelled and offer your place to someone else. The deposit won't be refunded.

  • If you'd like to pay the balance in instalments, plans are available and needs to be complete by 12 October 2027.

  • If an instalment fails, I’ll get in touch and you’ll have 14 days to make the payment. If the balance isn’t paid in full by 12 October 2027, your booking may be cancelled and your place offered to someone else, and the deposit is not refunded.

  • If you cancel
    · Before 12 October 2027: the deposit is non-refundable, and anything you’ve paid above it will be refunded.
    · On or after 12 October 2027: no refund, but with my agreement you may transfer your place to someone else at no charge.
Cancellations must be made in writing; email is fine.

if you cancel

WHAT HAPPENS

Any time

The £500 deposit is non-refundable

On or after 12 October 2027

No refund, but you can transfer your place to someone else, with my agreement, at no charge

Please tell me in writing (email is fine). Your travel insurance may cover you for cancellation, which is one reason it's required.

WHEN

if i cancel or change the retreat

  • If I cancel the retreat for any reason, you'll receive a full refund of everything you've paid me.

  • I'm not responsible for flights or other costs you've booked separately, which is why I recommend waiting for my confirmation before booking flights, and why travel insurance matters.

  • I may need to change a teacher, the schedule or a session. If I have to make a significant change, such as the dates or the venue, I'll tell you as soon as possible.

  • If events outside my control, such as severe weather, government travel advice or a natural disaster, prevent the retreat going ahead, I'll offer a refund of the amount paid, minus any costs already spent that I can't recover, or a place on a future retreat.

travel insurance

Travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical treatment abroad and repatriation is a condition of coming. I'll ask for your policy details before we travel.

your health

  • Please tell me about any physical or mental health conditions, injuries, pregnancy or medication that could affect you taking part. This is used only to keep you safe and is handled as set out in the privacy policy.

  • You take part in every session at your own pace and choice. You can sit anything out.

  • The retreat includes emotional and reflective work. It isn't therapy or medical treatment.

on the retreat

  • This is a women-only retreat for 16 people.

  • I ask everyone to respect the group, the venue and the local community. If someone's behaviour puts others at risk or seriously disrupts the group, I may ask them to leave without a refund.

  • Photos: I may take photos for my own marketing, but only publish images you're recognisable in if you've agreed. You can say no at any time.

  • Facilitation includes James, which means the retreat has male presence. This is intentional. Whilst the foundation of the retreat is women only, James is there for safety, stewardship and local guidance. James will lead Forest Therapy and act as Operations Manager for the duration of the retreat.

liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited. I'm not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for services provided by third parties that you've booked yourself.

the law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
